2025 EL CHEAPO SHEEPSHEAD TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE

Friday, February 21, 2025

4:00PM – On-Site registration opens. If you are going to register at the venue please arrive early.

5:00PM – Presidents Hot Dog Dinner! Come hungry. Get a Hot Dog, Chips and Drink for $5!

7:00 PM – Angler Rules meeting. This is mandatory. We will be going over specific rules and regulations, as well as closed and open areas for fishing. 

7:30 PM – Angler Rules  Raffle!!!! The Friday night raffle this year will becon back to the raffles of yesteryear! Everything you will possibly need to catch the winning Sheepshead on Saturday will be in this raffle! You dont want to miss it!

Tournament day!! Come visit our exhibiting sponsors, and the El Cheapo merchandise tent, all starting at noon. Bring the kids and enjoy the festivities and check out the Angelwood Experience! Check out all the big ol Sheepshead as they are weighed in!

6:47 AM FISHING BEGINS
12:00 PM WEIGH IN LINE OPENS
4:00 PM WEIGH IN LINE CLOSES (MUST BE IN LINE BY 4:00PM)
4:30 PM APPROXIMATE end of weigh in. Although we will be weighing fish past 4pm, you must be in line no later than 4pm. No exceptions. 

5:05 PM – Volunteer photo at clubhouse. All volunteers will congregate at the clubhouse for a very special photograph that will memorialize this year’s amazing tournament. 

5:10 PM – Angelwood Presentation – We will have live presentations by Angelwood staff and the individuals that Angelwood serves.  

5:30 PM – Awards presentations. Order will be

Junior Angler Division, Kayak Division, Lady Angler Division, General Division. 

7:00 PM TOURNAMENT DAY RAFFLE at the end of the Awards. 

FINAL RAFFLE OF THE EVENING!!
